Named after the historical gateway to the famous Angkor Wat Temple in Cambodia, Cafe Siêm Rêap offers a contemporary back-to-nature bistro setting for a good meal or quick bites any time of the day. Casual drinks amidst great company, accompanied by the cool sounds of acid jazz, triphop and eclectic chill-out tunes is the perfect complement to a weekend of much needed rest and relax.

Venue Decor

A tribute to Siêm Rêap and Mother Nature, the inimitably modern-day Asian café is a blend of traditional touches with new age influences, featuring classic replicas of Buddha and temple reliefs with clean lines and sleek metallic finishes. The clever use of organic design elements such as wooden fittings, thriving palms and lotus flowers, helps create a soothing, casual, laid-back atmosphere in the café and alfresco bistro. Adding to the present-day feel is a glass roof that bathes the interiors in a flood of natural sunlight.

Located in the heart of Holland Village, Cafe Siêm Rêap was the first water bar in Singapore and in fact, Asia, offering a wide selection of natural, sparkling as well as flavoured mineral and spring water from all around the world.

From calm and serene to boisterous and gripping, Siêm Rêap I is where the excitement is at on weekend nights in the heat of the English Premier League season and other such sporting extravaganzas. Join fellow sports fanatics as the matches are screened live on the giant plasma screens and revel in all its sporting glory as you see fit.

Menu Approach

In addition, guests can savour a wide array of street-style IndoChinese dishes. Nibble on freshly-made Gõi Cuõn (Vietnamese rice paper rolls) or choose from a variety of refreshing salads, rice and noodle dishes including the spicy Khao Poon Nam Pa (Laotian-style laksa).

Late in the afternoon as the sun sets, head down to Siêm Rêap I and enjoy the serenity while lightly sipping on a cocktail or a mug of ice-cold beer. The beverage list offers an extensive range of cocktails, beers and wines, from Vinto Terino, an IndoChine original house specialty of red wine, fresh lime juice and soda, to quality New and Old World wines from Australia, South Africa, Chile, New Zealand, America (California), France and Italy; and even bottled beers such as Hoegaarden.
