Venue Decor
The sandstone slates of amber, tan and grey covering the entrance combined with the entire space of irregular and fluidly shaped weathering patterns and wavy coloration lines are reminiscent of a long lost city uncovered in the Cambodian rainforest.
Ceiling high glass panels flanking the entrance offer a view of the bar, and the dramatic atrium ceiling with giant hanging chandeliers boasts a bold yet elegant statement in the entrance. Guests will have the option to choose from a variety of casual yet chic lounge dining sittings or the tranquil tropical settings of the alfresco area.
For curious guests who want to see the Chef’s in action, the show kitchen offers guests a sneak peek at the kitchen. -
Menu Approach
Offering a unique menu not found anywhere outside Indochina, CoChine Alfresco + Bistrot features a selection of exciting and authentic tastes of unique herbs and spices.
Highly recommended by the Chef is the Pomelo and Prawn Salad of Saigon with juicy tiger prawns and fresh pomelo pulp marinated in lime juice, spiced with chilly, Asian coriander and fish sauce on a bed of lettuce and fresh garden vegetables.
Guests will get to experience the diverse culinary tastes of Vietnamese, Laotian and Cambodian cuisines in dishes such as the Cha Gio – Vietnamese Spring Rolls (deep fried rice paper rolls, filled with fresh mushrooms and bean vermicelli with crisp lettuce, mint leaves and a traditional Indochinese sauce and the all time favourite Tom Som - Laotian green papaya salad (with different levels of spiciness to choose from).
