Venue Decor
The open air well bar at Bar SaVanh has been specially created to infuse an open and organic feel to the interior. The aim was to create warmth, openness and comfort to an old style interior with the abundant use of natural elements like foliage and the waterfall. The coffee sponged walls are the inspiration of owner, Michael Ma, who wanted to create a cozy, warm aura to the place with the organic nature of the color.
Lightly flickering candles and fragrant incense are touches which reflect the thought and care that had gone into the transformation of this once poorly-ventilated area, into a chic and trendy waterhole, perfect for after-dinner drinks or even a business networking session. Sitting alongside coffee-sponged walls (yet more proof of Michael’s design ingenuity), guests to Bar SaVanh will feel relaxed and right at home with the strains of down-tempo chill-out lounge music filling the air. warmth with style.
Both captivating and humbling, the eight Cambodian sandstone sculptures which flank the entrance of Bar SaVanh at IndoChine Kuala Lumpur are indeed a sight to behold. Menu Approach
Backed by a six-metre long aquarium, Bar SaVanh stocks a full range of wines, beers, cocktails and bubbly, which guests can enjoy whilst seated on the plush furniture.
