DJ Otto started his professional DJ career back in 1998 in San Francisco bar circuit, when he started as a resident at the city's The BAR on Castro (BOC), where he maintained a 5- year residency. From then on he began to spin in various venues around SF, California including the legendary Club Universe, the all boys Gus Presents parties, the inauguration party of then mayor elect Willie Brown and different club and bars around the city. His style of music captures many kind of genres, from disco/soulful house with a touch of electro to all commercial house and top 40s layered with bumpy funky beats carefully blended in together.
Now back in Asia he’s been bringing his unique blend of house & funk throughout the region for a wide variety of crowds. From the grand opening of Muse Bar in Singapore’s National Museum to brand parties such as Biyan & XSML Annual Fashion Show parties in Jakarta for the past 3 years, not to mention Piaget Magic Watches Launching Parties both in Singapore & Kuala Lumpur. Frequently spins for the alternative crowds of Play and Taboo both in Singapore, Lovemachine @Marketplace in Kuala Lumpur and The all boys Heaven Club in Jakarta, he also recently was chosen to play at the first ever Preston Bailey event in Indonesia early last year and the grand opening of IndoChine Jakarta.
Recently relocating back from a short time in Hong Kong where he got a chance to entertain crowds at the infamous Dragon-I, DJ Otto is now back in Jakarta keeping his funky style of music entertaining crowds from party people in the clubs to fashionistas in socialite gatherings. Currently a weekly resident DJ at IndoChine Jakarta and a monthly resident DJ at Heaven Club Jakarta, DJ Otto continues to entertain people with his signature music.
